FRAM FARMERS TO LAUNCH NEW BUSINESS SERVICES DIVISION
Daniel Cox is to join the senior management team at Suffolk-based farming co-operative Fram Farmers to head up the new service at the end of June.
He will develop and launch a new service within Fram Farmers, including energy management and renewables, environmental land management scheme consultancy and business planning projects.
Andrew Read, Fram Farmers Chairman, commented, “We are delighted to welcome Dan to Fram Farmers, forming part of the leadership team. In our 60th Anniversary year, we are continuing to invest in our member-owned cooperative, launching this new service, which will provide further benefit, expertise and savings to members.”
“Dan has extensive experience in working alongside farming businesses, supporting investments in technology, growth and diversification, as well as a proven track record in leadership at a strategic level,” he continued.
With a degree in marketing, communication and PR and a post-graduate certificate in local and regional economic development, Dan has worked throughout East Anglia for a number of years, including six years at AF in Honingham, Norfolk, leading business development, planning and rural funding programmes, and later overseeing commercial services in a senior management position.
Dan, commenting on his appointment, said “I am delighted to be joining Fram Farmers in what is likely to be one of most challenging but exciting periods for the industry in a generation. Fram Farmers is in a unique position to be able to offer members a range of support mechanisms to identify and make the most of forthcoming opportunities, which will be the focus of my role.”
“I have been drawn by the commitment of members and the dedication of the board led by Andrew and Wendy, and I am excited to be working closely with the new CEO and the rest of the Fram team," he added.
