Essex Breakfast Briefing: Key Takeaways
Over thirty farmers met in Braintree last week at our Breakfast Briefing. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, as well as a number of new ones, joining us for an insightful morning. The participation and engagement made the event a true success, and we are grateful for the opportunity to connect with our members in the Essex region.
A special thank you goes to Brown & Co for their generous sponsorship, making the breakfast event possible. Their support was invaluable in bringing together such a fantastic group of industry professionals. We would also like to express our appreciation to Peter Cox, who delivered an eye-opening and realistic presentation on the importance of collaboration within the farming community. His session highlighted how farms can work together to achieve savings and even turn a profit through shared resources, providing a thought-provoking and actionable approach to farm management.
In addition to Peter’s talk, two of Fram Farmers’ key experts explained how members can make the most out of their membership. Barry Howard, our Head of Crops, provided a detailed update on the grain markets, offering valuable information to help farmers navigate the ever-changing landscape of grain prices. Barry’s expertise in the sector ensured that attendees had the latest market knowledge and how they can stay updated with Fram's advice through various communication channels. From our WhatsApp alerts to our weekly 'Grain in Five' podcast, you can stay in the loop.
David Wilson, Crops Specialist at Fram Farmers, also took the stage, explaining how Fram can serve as an extra member of your team. David’s presentation focused on the practical benefits Fram Farmers offers to its members, from saving time on administrative tasks to streamlining purchasing processes. He emphasised the value of our early order forms, which not only simplify the procurement process but also help our team stay ahead of market trends, enabling us to support and inform our members in the best possible way.
At Fram Farmers, we understand that time is a precious commodity for our members, and we are committed to offering services that can reduce the administrative burden, allowing farmers to focus on what they do best—managing their farms. By partnering with Fram Farmers, you gain access to a range of resources and expertise that can help streamline operations, make smarter purchasing decisions, and ultimately improve the bottom line.
Once again, thank you to everyone who attended, and a special thanks to our sponsors, Brown & Co, for making the event a reality. We hope you found the presentations insightful and beneficial.
